John Holland - Managing Director - Background in technical engineering

John Holland, Managing Director, joined Metflex in 1987 and has a background in technical and engineering before being appointed to his current role. He has an an NVQ Level 5 in Operational Management. His specialism is developing unique tooling, parts and processes for the manufacture of rubber parts. His passion is technical problem solving. When he is not solving problems for clients, John is solving D.I.Y. problems around his house and grappling with his golf handicap.

David Hudson, Director of Purchasing & Facilities, joined Metflex in 1988 and during his time he has been responsible for implementing various new management systems. He has a BSc (Hons) in Materials Technology and an MBA. He specialises in planning, purchasing, health & safety and IT. David is heavily involved in his local community as chair of the school PTFA and member of the village field day committee, which he fits in between work and his passion for bonsai.

Dave Hudson

Steve Parry, Director of Development & Quality, joined Metflex in 1988 as a Materials Technologist and is now our Director of Development and Quality. During 1992 and 2000 he took a break from the company to work in the photocopier field developing several patented products into the industry. He holds a BSc in Polymer Technology and his specialism is quite obviously in materials. When Steve isn't developing materials he coaches trampolining.

John Whittaker, Director of Sales & Marketing, joined Metflex in 1984 and since then has held various positions in the company until his present post as Director of Sales & Marketing. He was the first recipient of a distinction in the UK for the Export Sales Diploma and has over ten years experience in technical sales roles prior to Metflex. It is obvious, therefore, that John's specialisms should be sales and marketing, but on his days off he excels at rock climbing in Europe and the UK.

Phil Rogerson, Company Secretary, joined Metflex in January 2006 bringing a wealth of experience in company growth and stability having being involved in several unrelated businesses, likes to be in the real nuts and bolts of the company workings, in his spare time he enjoys Motor sports, Rugby Union and aviation
